Top Custom Bike Builders Take Home Honors at Ray Price Capital City Bikefest
Top bike builders descended on Raleigh, N.C. recently for the 12th Annual Ray Price Capital City Bikefest, presented by GEICO Motorcycle. Weekend highlights included the state’s largest custom bike show sanctioned by the International Master Bike Builders Association and sponsored by Misfit Industries and Ryd Wheels. Many of North America’s most accomplished motorcycle builders competed for $15,000 in cash and prizes.
The bike show featured both professional and hobbyist bike builders competing with their vintage, modern and radical designs in fabrication, paint and engineering. First place winners in the 2016 Ray Price Motorsports Expo bike show included:

The level of innovation and craftsmanship displayed by these builders was outstanding.”

Capital City Bikefest was formed in 2005 with the City of Raleigh to become North Carolina’s first downtown motorcycle rally. Created by beloved local businessman Ray Price, it helped bring the roar of life back downtown. The Ray Price Capital City Bikefest & Motorsports Expo features a street festival with live music, stunt shows and a custom bike show.
