The June JAMR (Jerry's Annual Memorial Ride) is an annual motorcycle memorial ride event, held on the 2nd Saturday every June. It originates out of Ray Price again this year! Registration begins at 8am, with kick stands up at 10! Fee to ride is $25 per bike or cage, $10 each additional passenger. The cost of registration includes lunch at the meal stop and opportunity to win door prizes! This is a five county escorted ride with multiple stops that concludes by mid afternoon at Cycle Max of Wilson. This year's fun and games will include a 50/50 raffle, along with a silent auction of donated prizes available for bid throughout the day. And this year the JAMR family will conclude sales for a big ticket prize raffle, drawing the prize winners on June 10th during one of the stops. This year's1st place prize is a Yamaha inverter series generator; 2nd place prize is a Remington shotgun, and the 3rd place prize is $100 cash! The mission of the June JAMR is to promote awareness of sarcoidosis disease, while raising money for the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR), and other eastern NC charitable causes. This memorial ride was founded in 2015 in memory of the late Jerry Grimes of Goldsboro, NC, a life long motorcycle enthusiast who succumbed from complications of sarcoidosis in 2014. The June JAMR is a 501-c-3 recognized non-profit. To learn more, to donate, or to pre-register for the ride, please visit www.thejunejamr.org
